I have never watched an episode of Vampire Diaries, and now I think I'll be watching the entire thing based solely upon this fic. I had to google them to figure out what was going on and so I'll probably revisit this once I actually know all the characters, but for now I will say that I love your use of language and the way Damon's books are woven throughout the narrative.
