Oh wow, fearless! What a wonderful compliment! It was my first experience with recording myself so I wasn't sure how to go about it other than to just do it. I'm so thrilled that you enjoyed it. NGL, I looked up 'vertiginous' to make sure I said it correctly :) The song is Ache by James Carrington (that reminds me that I forgot to put that into the post - thanks!). I thought it was so perfect for Damon, the sound and the words - I squeed at the whole 'writing words for my book' part!
